RB - Development of the indie rock genre

As the track we are doing is remix of a song by an indie band there going to be an added indie style to the video we produce and after looking at my mood board I realised that there were a few areas that show the indie style that I missed out, the areas I missed I have included below:

Indie album covers:
The images used as album covers for Indie rock albums are very strange and interesting and don't feature an image of the artist on the front. they look like they are almost solely created digitally.

Indie rock locations:
The locations associated with the Indie rock genre are very urban and estate looking. They look as if the artist doesn't have a high budget to produce pictures/videos with so they don't travel to exotic locations and instead use what is close to them.

Indie rock colours/graphics:
The colours and graphics are very minimalist and simple. All of these graphics are relatively simple and fairly easy to do on photoshop.
