RB - Proposal for Audience Research

What Style?
The style of our audience research will be an online survey in which anyone can answer a series of questions in  variety of ways so that we get the answers we need as well as being able to recieve new ideas from other people.
What Purpose?The purpose of our audience research is so that we can present our range of ideas and recieve information about what the audience think will work. We will also be able to recieve new ideas from people, ideas that we may not have thought of that could potentially be quite good.
Sample Audience?
I think a survey that suits both focussed and wide range of people would be better. Posting the survey on selected music forums (such as http://www.dnbforum.com/ and http://www.planetdnb.com/)

and on websites like facebook will give us results from both people into that genre of music and people that may not be but may have some good ideas.
Ideas for questions?
Examples of questions we would ask in our survey would be; What visual ideas would you associate with the drum and bass genre?,   Do you think the theme of running would be suitable in a drum and bass video?, Do you prefer music videos that are performance based of that have more of a narrative to them?, Would you expect the band to appear in the video or do you think a more artistic, non artist based video would work?
